LAKEVIEW RESIDENCE
The kitchen was formerly 2 separate rooms divided by a load bearing brick wall. In order to make this space work as one, virtually all signs of the division were removed except the vertical building plumbing and electrical risers that were disguised behind a reflective stainless steel backsplash that is situated below the internally lit upper glass cabinets. The kitchen functions are separated into vignettes of prep, cooking, and clean up while still having plenty of space for an informal dining and seating area.
